Eduardo Morales Crowned Mr. Gay Spain 2025

Where Cultures Converge in Celebration

At just 24 years old, Eduardo Adrián Morales Lobaina has earned the title of Mr. Gay Spain 2025. Originally from La Línea de la Concepción in the Cádiz province of Andalusia, Eduardo proudly embraces his dual heritage — a rich blend of Spanish roots and Cuban lineage from his mother. His victory is more than a personal milestone; it showcases the power of inclusivity and representation, especially for LGBTQ+ youth in rural areas where acceptance often lags behind.

A Voice for the Silenced

Eduardo’s triumph resonates far beyond the stage. With visible emotion during the crowning ceremony in Madrid, he affirmed the deeper meaning of his win. “This isn't just my victory,” he said. “It belongs to everyone still living in silence. I’m here for them — and for all of us.”

A Journey Marked by Strength and Compassion

Eduardo’s story is one of resilience. Raised by his Cuban mother in a single-parent household, he grew up alongside his younger brother Toni, who has Asperger’s syndrome. His teenage years were tough — marked by persistent bullying due to his appearance, background, and sexual orientation. Despite these challenges, Eduardo emerged with a deep-rooted empathy and an unwavering drive to fight for those who feel unheard.

Living with Purpose and Passion

Currently employed as a retail associate in a clothing store, Eduardo is working hard to achieve financial independence. Friendly and full of aspirations, he finds solace and inspiration in music, film, travel, and nightlife. He describes himself as charismatic and emotionally attuned — traits that shine through his advocacy and authentic public presence.

#OrgulloEnMiPueblo: Turning Struggles into Change

Fueled by his own experiences growing up in a conservative environment, Eduardo introduced the #OrgulloEnMiPueblo campaign — which translates to “Pride in My Town.” The initiative centers on advocating for inclusive, age-appropriate emotional and sexual education in schools. Its mission: to prevent bullying, promote understanding, and help LGBTQ+ youth feel accepted and safe in their own communities.

Empowering Through Education

“We fight hate with education,” Eduardo emphasized during one of the evening's most moving moments. “We cannot keep ignoring the pain of so many young people who live with fear or shame. Schools should be places of safety, not suffering.”

Through his platform, Eduardo is working to turn awareness into action. From his hometown of La Línea de la Concepción to countless other rural villages across Spain, he’s championing lasting change for a more inclusive and empathetic future — where everyone has the freedom to be themselves.
